Neodymium:Gadolinium Vanadate (Nd:GdVO4) lases at a wavelength of 1063nm. Needing pumping at a wavelength of 807.5nm, Nd:GdVO4 is well suited to diode pumping. It has larger absorption and emission cross-sections than Nd:YAG is versatile and is used across a broad range of applications.
