Medipix2/Timepix
Advatech UK supplies Medipix2/Timepix based detector products and technologies designed and manufactured by X-Ray Imatek.

The Medipix2/Timepix ASIC is the result of over a decade of development by a CERN led consortium. The ASIC, bonded with a sensor material (Silicon, Cadmium Telluride or Gallium Arsenide), together with interface/driver electronics and software is now available for integration into both academic research projects and commercial products.

To enable potential users to quickly become familiar with the capabilities of the Medipix2/Timepix technology, evaluation kits are now available:
