NaI(Tl) scintillators Encapsulated
A wide range of Scintillator Probes and Detectors are offered as outlined below. These are all based on NaI(Tl) scintillators but most are available configured with other scintillator types.
NaI(Tl) Scintillators - Standard Sizes
NaI(Tl) scintillators are available with either a circular or square cross-section and housed in rugged, hermetically sealed aluminium or titanium windowed cylinders. Sizes up to 100mm Diameter by 100mm Thicknesses are available.
NaI(Tl) Scintillators - Soft X-Ray
In the soft X-ray NaI(Tl) scintillator, the NaI(Tl) crystal is cut into disk shape and housed in aluminum cases of shaped like a ring, beryllium or aluminum foil is used as the entrance window, and it is used for measuring soft X-rays at low energy levels. Suitable for soft X-ray and low gamma-ray detection.
NaI(Tl) Scintillators - Well Type
The well-type NaI(Tl) scintillator is a gamma ray detector with a cylindrical part (well) that is set concentrically in a cylindrical NaI(Tl) crystal. This assembly is housed in aluminium cases.
For measurements, specimen is entered to well part and light output can be obtained from the optical window mounted at the other face.
This design is especially useful when low-level radiation must be efficiently detected.
NaI(Tl) Scintillators - Side-Hole Type
The side-hole type NaI(Tl) scintillator is a detector with a side-hole passing vertically through the axis of the cylindrical NaI(Tl) crystal. It is housed in aluminium cases and, for measurements, light output can be obtained from an optical window mounted on one or both sides of the edges while passing the specimen through the side-hole.
This design is especially useful when low-level radiation must be efficiently detected.

NaI(Tl) Scintillators - Compact
The performance of ASC1110 NaI(Tl) scintillators is the same as ASC1101, but the structure is more compact and as such these scintillators are suitable for well logging applications where space is limited.

NaI(Tl) Scintillators - High Temperature
The ASC1110G, ASC1111G, ASC1112G NaI(Tl) scintillators have the features of high temperature resistant.They are widely used in oil well logging, coalfield well logging application. Respectively, their operating temperature are：-20℃~100℃, -20℃~150℃, -20℃~200℃.

ASC1113G NaI(Tl) scintillators have the features of high temperature resistance, vibration resistance and shock resistance, they are suitable for Measurement While Drilling(MWD), the operating temperature is -20℃~175℃.
